" I just read this book from cover to cover! Not only did I enjoy this read, I purchased copies for my daughters. This book is raw, grounding, and deeply validating. What I Wish I Knew Years Ago doesn't talk down to the reader or promise overnight transformation. Instead, it offers clarity, self-awareness, and realistic tools for healing and building true self-confidence. What I appreciated most was how relatable it felt. The author Sam Brady doesn't position herself above the reader she walks alongside you. The focus on internal confidence (not ego or arrogance), releasing self-sabotage, and understanding your past without being defined by it makes this book incredibly empowering! If you've done self-help before but felt like something never quite "clicked," this book may finally put things into words that make sense for you. "

" I saw Sam’s post on Instagram about her book coming out at the beginning of the year. I've been her number 1 fan on the west coast, since fb days. I’m not the biggest book worm in the world. Plus I haven’t done some reading in years. This is the first book that I read in 20 years. In 2024 I had a seizure at Disneyland, do to high BP. I wasn’t doing good in life. I choose to drink almost every day. Always wondered when I’d quit. God gave me another chance in life to correct myself. When I started reading “what I wish I knew years ago” instantly I couldn’t stop reading this book. Every other day, reading 10 to 15 pages. Doing morning reading to late night reading. This book was meant for me. A lot of memories came up in my mind. Especially when I was a kid, probably 9 to 13 years old. I was always afraid to say what happen to me. This book helped me find a way to build my confidence back up and heal from my past trauma. I’ve been telling my friends about Sam’s book at every chance I get. I definitely would recommend it anyone who has troubles in life. She's opened my eyes, made them cry with sadness and with joy again. I would definitely re-read what I wish I knew years ago. “ A self-help book with a difference!

This book actually makes sense!

Sam shares her journey with the reader. Both the good and bad. As well as all the highs and the lows. She really makes it  relatable to your personal journey. The book was easy to read and it gives you achievable tools to help yourself begin to heal from your own trauma straight away. 

I highly recommend this book, I have already noticed a difference within myself. I will continue to return to the book if I have a wobble.
